Crow River Christmas began in 2011 and elicits several types of involvement from the people in our community! We hope you plan to join us, tree lighting takes place the first Saturday in December each year.

This event has expanded to include a variety of holiday activities, all leading up to the official tree lighting and a fireworks display at Riverside Park. There are many ways to participate—whether by joining us for the tree lighting, running in the Jolly Jingle 5K, taking photos with Santa, or sponsoring a tree for your business, a cheerful family greeting, or in honor of a loved one to be displayed in Riverside Park.

For over a decade, our community has come together to celebrate Crow River Christmas, and each year the number of sparkling trees in the park continues to grow!

Sponsoring a Tree or Wreath is a wonderful way to honor or remember a loved one, celebrate a friend, or simply share holiday cheer with the community. Businesses, churches, and families alike help transform the park into a dazzling winter wonderland.

Tree Sponsorship Options

• $100 – Scouts handle it all! They’ll put up and take down your lights, while raising funds through their efforts.
• $75 – DIY option: You provide and hang your own lights and decorations.
• NEW! Wreath Sponsorship – $45
  Includes a festive wreath, decorative ribbon, and an index card–sized greeting. RiverWorks will take care of adding the lights for you!
